Happy Groundhog Day, Everyone

United States - Here in the US, we have this tradition where we use a groundhog to tell us if winter is going to persist for another 6 weeks. The time and day this prediction is made, is sunrise on February 2nd.

When the Mayor of Punxatawny, PA went to check on Phil, the local weather expert groundhog, all he found was a sign saying, "Of course it's going to stay winter. It's freezing out there. Go away and let me sleep."

By all accounts it really does seem that this winter is going to last until next winter.
