Eagles Replaced Their Entire Team for New Years Eve Game

Considering that The Eagles really couldn't accomplish anything more in this season; for their last game, they replaced all their players with people they found in the parking lot. It was the chance of a lifetime for many fans, who got to see their dreams come true.

With a 12-2 record, a clinched spot in the playoffs, the bye week, and homefield advantage, it literally made no difference at all if The Eagles won this game. So rather than risk injury to their players, they simply used substitutes.

Coach Doug Pederson was explaining to reporters after the game, "We figured no one would notice, and we were right."
