MIAMI FL - Tomorrow is the day.  The twice impeached, now twice indicted, sexual assualter is on his way to Miami to be arrested and processed.  This time at the Federal level.  As an amusing side note, before I get started; Drumpf is having a hard time finding an attorney that will represent him, and this may cause a delay.  In my opinion, that sounds like a whole lot of not our problem, and he should be made to show up as agreed, no matter what.  But this government too polite for that.  Even to this traitor.

Does it sound like I'm judging him guilty already?  Does that seem harsh?  Really?  Have you read the indictment?  No?  Well, you're in luck.  Here is the link to the PDF so you can read it for yourself.

And this is what brings me to write this today.
To explain what that indictment says to those that either haven't read it and want it summarized, and for those that just don't understand law talking documents.

It is 37 counts.  Most of which are violations of the Espionage Act.  Others are mishandling of documents.  And others still are obstruction of justice.  That is the high-high level.  I know that his supporters keep saying that this is nothing but some "mishandling of documents."  Presumably those same people would say that "Ted Kaczynski mailed some packages to people."  While technically true, it omits the entirety of what made that story so bad.

To summarize what the indictment actually says, the story goes like this...
As he was leaving the White House, he directed his aides to collect all of those boxes and have them moved to his house in Florida.  Once they were there, they were carelessly left in the open, in the bathroom, spilled on the floor...  He showed them to his friends.  They have audio of him saying, "I could have declassified this stuff when I was President.  But I'm not President anymore.  I shouldn't even have this."

He knew what he had.  And he knew that there was secret and classified material in those boxes.  He showed them to his friends.

The National Archives contacted him about the documents and politely asked for them back.  He denied having anything.  After a few rounds of this, the FBI got involved and paid him a visit.  He gave up some of the documents, and swore there were no more.  He did this while having his aide move the boxes around, and keep them hidden.  At one point his lawyer said to him, "Dude, you don't mess with the Feds.  Give them everything.  Do it now."  His response was to move the boxes again to hide them from his lawyer.  Then he had his lawyer sign a legal document saying that "This is everything.  Pinky swear."

He knew what he had. Actively lied to the government about it.  And implicated his lawyer in the meantime.

One of these moves that they have on video surveillance, is Drumpf ordering the boxes moved out of the house, and onto his plane, so he could take them on vacation to Bedminster, NJ.

He wanted to keep the documents with him at all times.

But there's more
He was not only careless with these documents, he purposely allowed them to be viewed.  Witnesses are have already testified that they knew of foreign adversaries that visited Drumpf and those documents were right out in the open for all to see.

Look, people...  It took over a year of investigating, interviewing, checking audio and video, to finally conclude that Drumpf was purposely, and with no regret, breaking the law.  For him to pretend like he is innocent, and claim that this is a witch hunt, a set up, a hoax, whatever, is completely belied by the facts uncovered in this investigation.

As far as the law goes with something like this, the primary factor will be intent.  Did he know what he was doing?  Did he intend to take the documents?  Did he intend to keep them?  Did he purposely go to great lengths to conceal them and move them to better hiding places?

The answer to all of those questions is YES.  And that is the reason he is in so much trouble.

For his supporters to continue to downplay this as if it's no big deal, or twist the situation around to make it favorable is also absurd.  Kevin McCarthy, the Speaker of the House, actually said, "It's fine that he kept those boxes in the bathroom.  Bathrooms have locks."

Again...  That might be a factual statement, but it completely ignores EVERY OTHER thing about what he has done and doesn't even come close to addressing the fact that they were there to begin with.

A final personal note about this
I really do not understand his supporters on this one.  There is no defense.  This is literally indefensible.  What he has done is bad for this country.  It's bad for our operatives in the field.  It's bad for our allies and our military.  It's bad for the entire damn world!  And people are bending over backwards to downplay it, or discredit the FBI, the DOJ, Jack Smith, the witnesses...

These documents...  They were not his personal brownie recipes or his weekend golf schedules. Nothing mundane like that.  They were secrets concerning nuclear weapons, threat response, military readiness, attack plans, covert operations, and the like.  And not just US secrets, but those of our allies, and what we know about our enemies.  He actually CHOSE which documents to take for their potential value.  This is why the words "espionage" and "traitor" are being used.

This is not a joke.  This is not made up.  This is not fabricated.  There is HARD, physical, irrefutable, incontrovertible evidence of what he has done, and what his intentions were.  He is on audio and video literally contradicting all the defenses his supporters have attempted.  Like I said; indefensible.

I've seen them say all the common things like, "What about Hillary?"  Well, that never happened.  "What about Hunter's laptop?!"  That didn't happen either.  "What about that $5M bribe that Biden took?!"  That didn't happen either.  "He declassified them!"  No he didn't.  And he said so himself. "He was President!"  Not at that moment.  All of this occurred AFTER that. "Biden is weaponizing the DOJ."  No he's not.  He has no power or even a say in it.

And it is NOT a political hit job.  The indictment was handed down by a grand jury.  Normal people.

They say all these things, and more, but don't even come into the general area of addressing what Drumpf has done.  They simply DO NOT believe it, and they do not believe the severity of it.  Most of all, they STILL don't believe what kind of a scumbag they have been supporting for all this time.

This is real.  It happened.  And it HURTS his supporters too!!!

At some point those people are going to have to realize they are backing the wrong horses ass.  He is a criminal.  He is a gigantic piece of shit.  He is a traitor.  He should be treated like one.  I hope that he enters that Federal building in Miami and is not allowed to see the light of day until his trial starts.

One final thing.  The image used in the headline is available as an NFT.  If you want to support this site by purchasing one for $0.10, that would be great!
